What do you need to apply:
You have to have an established company that is registered. Your business model needs to be in a startup mindset, scalable, have international potential, and have a unique idea. You need to be able to pitch it to live audience and investors in Dream Event. You also need to have a pitch deck to visualize your idea to everybody.

When you get into Dream:
After the message from StartHub team that you / your team is accepted to Dream event. You will have a meeting with us and we’ll go through the specific details of what needs to be done before the event.
Mandatory dates for chosen ones:
Before You fill out the application form, please check that these dates are fine with Your calendar: Pitching training days 10.9 and 24.9.. + Fri 10.10. the event.
Pitch:
The pitch language is English. You will have 8 min time for your pitch and Q&A’s. It is up to you how you use it.
Event site:
Sammiosali stage is located in Malski, Lahti City Center.
Prize:
Our main goal is that You will get investments in Your business, BUT the grand prize for the judge´s choice is 10,000 €!
Audience choice will also be awarded in the event.



JURY
A panel of investors evaluates the companies. Dream the event for open conversation with investors about a possible continuation, e.g. investments, mentoring, and sparring. The event is looking for pre-seed, seed, and A-stage investors.

Johan is a startup investing professional with background in heavy industry and digital businesses both in Finland and globally. Currently Johan is CEO for Startup Lions.


Tor is an Investment Director at Stephen Industries, the family office of Kustaa Poutiainen which focuses on DeepTech, HealthTech, and GreenTech investments. Tor oversees daily investment activities and has played a key role in successfully developing the family office into its current form over the last 18 months. Stephen Industries has completed over 15 direct investments and several fund investments in the last two years.

Arttu Laasonen works at Green Campus Innovations Ltd, a cleantech seed investment firm focused on startups and corporate spin-offs utilizing research from LUT University.

In 2001, Juha founded Labyrintti Media Oy, a SaaS company specializing in SMS services. He served as the CEO, and under his leadership, the company became the market leader and the most profitable player in its niche sector in Finland. He successfully exited the business in late 2016.
Today, he leverage his entrepreneurial experience as an investor, angel investor, and mentor, helping businesses grow and succeed.

As COO of FiBAN, and also a former startup founder, Milja co-leads one of Europe’s most active angel investor networks, reaching over 600+ investors and thousands of startups annually.
She’s a member of Finland’s Creative Economy Advisory Board and Ethics Committee of the Startup Sector, with an extensive background in marketing, storytelling, and communications in tech, culture, and well-being.

Jari is an angel investor and board professional in several early stage startup companies. He is also partner in Startup Lions.
Passion for Jari comes from creating something new – ideas or businesses – mainly new ideas with software and SaaS focus. Nowadays Jari is also FiBAN’s Regional Angel in Lahti area.

Tuomas is an entrepreneur and executive with a track record of successful exits in medical and software sectors. With experience as a CFO across multiple companies, Tuomas recently achieved an exit from the pioneering space industry company Space Systems Finland, Tuomas serves as a board member and advisor to a few technology companies and has been actively involved with the Finnish Business Angels Network (FiBAN) since its early days.
