On October 4th, Lahti transforms into the ultimate innovation hub at Dream event, brought to you by StartHub – the heart of the Päijät-Häme startup scene.

In the event potential student groups present their ideas, and startup entrepreneurs pitch their business to investors. The Grand prize for startups is 10 000 €.

Whether you’re a startup enthusiast, an aspiring entrepreneur, or an investor on the lookout for the next big thing, this event is for you.

The event is free of charge for visitors and in English

Keynote Speaker

André Noël Chaker is a top Finnish business speaker and author, known for his bestselling books, The Finnish Miracle series. He has inspired over 500 events worldwide and holds multiple Speaker of the Year awards. As an entrepreneur, André has been a leading force in many science, technology, gaming and sports related start-up ventures. A versatile leader, André has also extensive experience in executive roles, including a nine-year tenure at Veikkaus Oy.

Tarun Sharma is an experienced venture leader currently working as a Partner & CCO at Nokia Ventures. He is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in venture building, innovation, growth, and developing technology-based businesses.

Sharma is widely recognized as a leading expert in the field, having successfully launched and scaled numerous ventures & accelerators across various industries.

Host

Tomi Kaukinen is a serial entrepreneur, keynote speaker and currently Head of Marketing at Aviation Technology Company QOCO Systems. He has founded several startups and worked with some of the biggest sports clubs in the world. He has a passion for living life in your way in accordance with your values and loves meeting inspiring people and startups.
